ISO 9001, the International Standard for Quality Management, has been revised, the new version was published in September 2015. Any organisation which has a quality management system (QMS) approved to ISO 9001:2008 must review their systems, update them to meet the requirements of new standard, and get their QMS re-approved by their certification body by the end of August 2018.
There are significant differences between ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015, and most organisations will need to make changes to their QMS to meet the requirements of the new standard. This provides an opportunity to review your QMS, to remove obsolete requirements and simplify the documentation.
The Gap analysis checklist ISO 9001 2015 Gap analysis is a protected document with fillable form fields which you can use to review your QMS.
